Fly By

Hello All
Just thought I'd pop by with one of this weeks makes ready for a craft fair next weekend.
I have used the lovely new Corner Garden stamp, which I have coloured with ProMarkers this time round. Then I have added a penny slider with one of the butterflies from the Papillon Potpourii set, so it could fly over my flower patch. This is one of my favourite type of cards, as I love cards that are more than just a flat picture.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Come and Get It - things with wings
That Craft Place - summery colours
A Gem Of A Challenge - it's summer time
Paper Pretties - birthdays
Bunny Zoe's - summer colours
Craft Your Passion - summer fun
and
Dream Valley - flowers
Thanks for stopping by

Apologies

Hello Everyone
I must start my post once again apologising for my lack of blogging, I really don't know where time goes and I can't believe it's been a month since I last posted - slap my wrists.
Todays card is one from last weeks class using the new Boys Will Be Boys stamp set, which I confess I am in love with. I originally bought it just for the 'lego' bricks as my two boys are addicted to it, thinking I'd never use the others, but how wrong I've been. The background on this card was made made by stamping all the images multiple times and cutting them out with the hexagon punch and randomly sticking them together like a collage. I even love the font of the sentiments of this set, it all just works.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Quick Quotes - repeat yourself
Simply Create Too - monochromatic
That's Crafty - this is a mans world
4 Crafty Chicks - lets get masculine
Crafter's Cafe - square cards only
Crafting For All Seasons - monochromatic
and
Fab 'n' Funky - for kids
Thanks for popping by

Regarding Dahlia

Morning All
Well it's a lovely sunny day here in Essex, and I've finally got a couple of days off work, so I thought I'd pop by with one of my latest creations using the Regarding Dahlia stamp set. I thought I'd leave the sentiment off, and then it is the sort of card you could send for any occasion from sympathy, birthday, thank you or just because. As I inked the stamp up, it seemed to cry out to be layered up, so six layers later, here's the result.

I would like to enter my creation in the following challenges;
Creative Moments - anything goes/use one flower
Deep Ocean - Lots of layers (6 in flower)
Party Time Tuesday - anything goes
Creatalicious - monochrome
TokBobok -monochrome
and
Eureka Stamps - monochrome
Thanks very much for popping by, and I'll see you again soon

Giraffe

I'm back again :)
This is another card from my Tag-tastic class, this time using the scallop tag topper punch to form a straight forward tag. I have rounded the corners with the corner rounder. The back ground was embossed with the sale-a-bration folder, and the mat has been stamped with the world map stamp. The main image is from zoo review. I have had the set for a while, but have finally cracked it open.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;

Tag-tastic Poppies

Afternoon All
I just thought I'd pop by and share one of the makes from my Tagtastic class last Saturday. The group of ladies made 5 cards (including this one) and a gift box, and all seemed to go home very happy.
This card was made using a portion of the pleasant poppies stamp, with the rest masked out, onto a card tied shut using the fantastic and versatile scallop tag topper punch. I simply love this style of card, and I hope you like it too.
I would like to enter my creation in the following challenges;
Party Time Tuesday- fussy cutting
Crafting From The Heart - anything goes
Fitztown Challenge - lots of layers
and
Thanks for popping by, and I'll be back with some other makes soon.

Happy Watercolor

Hello everyone.
Just thought I'd pop by and share one of my latest creations with you all.
I finally cracked open my Happy Watercolor stamp set, which I have had since the summer catalogue was launched, and thought I'd better show my lovely ladies what they could do with it before the end of the spring/summer catalogue on 30th June 2014. So this is one of the cards my Tuesday evening ladies will be making. The sentiment is from an old set, but as usually a little bitty punched butterfly had to creep on from the Papillon Potpourri set - I'm not addicted, honest lol.
I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges;
CAS - sketch
Baffies Creative Shop- for a woman
Crafting With Dragonflies - mothers day or a special lady
Scrappers Delights - pretty pastels
Lia Stampz - pastels colors
Craft Your Passion - pretty pastels
and
Thanks for looking, and if you fancy any of the stamps, click on the

links and they'll take you to my on line shop.
Back soon, big hugs

Quickie Birthday

Afternoon All
Just thought I'd pop by and share a quick card with you that I made.
This was a very simple card using the designer series paper stack, birthday sentiment, matching card stock and the chevron punch. To get the block effect I have just reversed the waste to get the reverse pattern and just stuck it back on the other way round, and it gives a whole different look to the basic chevron punch.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Kit and Clowder - something blue
Less Is More - a touch of turquoise
Crafting Musketeers - monochrome
Charisma Cards - anything goes
and
Little Red Wagon - masculine
Thanks very much for popping by, I'll be back soon with some more Stampin' Up creations

More Butterflies

Afternoon.
Sorry for my long absence again, but blame hubby for giving me a lovely chest infection which has kept me well under the weather for over a fortnight. Anyhow feeling much brighter again, so thought I'd share another card with you all.
The background for this card has been stamped in smoky grey ink, using the dictionary background stamp. This has then been over stamped with the beautiful swallowtail image in pool party. This has then been cut into a square, mounted on some basic black, before being mounted on a pool party square card base.
Two butterflies were then stamped from the papillon potpourii set, and cut out with the matching bitty butterfly punch and elegant butterfly punch. The sentiment is cut using the large oval punch, and mounted onto a scallop oval punched shape.
I hope you like, and I would like to enter it in the following challenges;
Crafty Catz - anything goes
Creative Moments - anything goes/things with wings
The House That Stamps Built - things with wings
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - monochrome
and
Thanks so much for popping by, and hope to see you again soon

Butterfly Tiles

Afternoon All
Just thought I'd pop by with a little butterfly creation, using the Bitty Butterfly punch and the Elegant Butterfly punch, both of which I find really useful. The paper is from the retired Twitterpad collection (loved this set, and was really upset when it was discontinued).
To make this card, I have matted white squares onto red squares, and cut a butterfly aperture using the elegant butterfly punch. These have been mounted onto a background of the Twitterpad paper, matted onto matching red cardstock, using foam pads so the 'tiles' are slightly raised. I have then cut and shaped 4 bitty butterflies and set them into the apertures, finishing off with a few pearls. If you click on any of the links, they will take you to the products used in my online shop.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Challenge 4 Everybody - anything goes
Dragonfly Dreams - we're up in the air
Kitty Bee Designs - monotone
Jellypark Challenges - things with wings
and
Cuttin and Stampin Challenge - butterflies are buzzing

Poppy Cubes

Afternoon All
I've been experimenting again. I saw some of these lovely cube cards on Pintrest, and just had to have a go, and I must admit I'm quite pleased with the outcome. I also love the fact that they go flat to fit in an envelope.
The base card was gumball green 12" x 12", then the image is Pleasant Poppies (another of my favourites), which I have stamped, coloured the stems, embossed with a texture plate from my stash, before paper piecing the flower heads on. The image was then divided into squares before sticking to the cubes. The butterfly is from the Papillon Potpourri set and has been stamped onto the same red card as the flowers, and has been gold embossed.
I'd love to know what you all think.
I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Paper Pretties - try a new technique (new card style)
Cuttlebug Mania - let's feel it

and

Evening All
Well, I'm back again, think I'm getting addicted to blogging.
This is a card I made the other day at a crafty day with a group of lovely Stampin' Upers, when we were doing our own thing at the end of the day.
The background papers have been shaped using the new Scallop Tag Topper punch, and they have been linked together with seam binding. The front has been decorated with the Flower Shop stamps, cut out with the corresponding punch, and gently shaped.
I would like to enter it in the following challenges;

Dads Birthday

Afternoon All.
Well tomorrow is my Dads birthday, so I have been playing to make him a card. He has sailed all his life, and loves the old clipper boats, so The Open Sea set seemed most appropriate. The background card is midnight muse, as is the blue stamping, the other is soft suede. The background has also been stamped using the World Map, which is rapidly becoming one of my favourites. I do hope he will like it.
If you are tempted by any of the stamps I use, if you click on their names, the link will take you straight to them in my online shop.

Box Of Flowers

Hello Everyone
It's been a very long time since  blogged on here, so thought it was about time I got myself organised and started posting again.
This card was made for one of my classes, and I must say the ladies loved it, and were surprised at how simple it was to actually do. When closed the card lays flat, and was held shut with a decorated band. Once open it simply explodes into life. All the supplies are available from Stampin' Up, except the paper, which unfortunately has now been discontinued - but there are lots of other beautiful ones to choose from. You can shop 24/7 on my online shop, or email me if you would like to order direct.
The stamps I have used are Flower Shop, Papillon Potpourri and Four Frames, plus the matching punches, which I confess I am completely addicted to.
I would like to enter my creation in the following challenges;
Crafting From The Heart - anything goes/use flowers
Anyone For Anya - odd card, no standard shape
Quirky Crafts - Lets quirky well, pile it high, layer it up and 3D it
Sentimental Sundays - pack a punch
Flat Friends Challenge - more than one fold
Stampin' Up The Weekend - flower power
Thanks very much for looking, and if you like what you see, please, please become a follower.
Big hugs Sharon xx
